Information We Collect

Oren Delivery does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personal registration details.

When you enter a tracking token to track a shipment, that token is stored locally on your device so you can resume tracking without re-entering it. We do not link tracking tokens to any personal identity.

With your explicit permission, we collect your device's GPS location solely for the Secure Box proximity unlock feature. This location data is sent to our server only at the moment you tap "Activate Box" and is not stored after the unlock check completes.

We collect your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token to deliver push notifications about shipment status updates. This token identifies your device for notification delivery only and is not linked to any personal information.

How We Use Your Information

Tracking tokens are used to retrieve shipment data (cargo description, origin, destination, current location of the delivery vehicle, and delivery status) from our servers and display it in the app.

Your device location is used exclusively to determine whether you are within proximity of a Secure Box to authorise unlocking. It is never used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond this single feature.

Your FCM device token is used solely to send you real-time notifications when your shipment enters a new region or arrives at its destination.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores your tracking tokens and cached shipment data locally using SharedPreferences. This data remains on your device and allows the app to display your shipments immediately, even when offline.

You can clear this data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's storage through your device settings.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Your device location is sent to our server only during a Secure Box unlock request, alongside the tracking token and box identifier, to verify proximity. This data is not retained after the check.

Your FCM device token is shared with Firebase (Google) as required for push notification delivery. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's privacy policy.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Oren, our users, or the public.

Location Data

The app requests location permission only when you use the Secure Box unlock feature. Location access is never requested for general tracking or map display.

You can revoke location permission at any time through your device settings. Revoking it only disables the Secure Box proximity feature — all other app functionality, including shipment tracking and notifications, continues to work normally.

Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver shipment status updates to your device. The app requests notification permission on first launch.

You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings. Disabling notifications will not affect your ability to track shipments within the app.

Data Security

All communication between the app and our servers is transmitted over HTTPS.

We do not store personal data on our servers. Shipment data displayed in the app is retrieved in real time from our logistics backend and cached locally on your device.

Children's Privacy

Oren Delivery is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, the updated policy will be posted at this URL. Your continued use of Oren Delivery after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
